The popularity of online video has exploded in recent years. And while video production used to be costly and difficult to learn, that’s no longer the case. Video is a great medium for capturing action, telling compelling stories, and connecting with your audience on an emotional level.
Renaissance Journalism, a project of San Francisco State University’s Journalism Department, experiments with bold, new approaches to news and storytelling, reimagining the media as a vital source of education, engagement and empowerment for underserved communities. Created in 2009, Renaissance Journalism provides grants, technical assistance and training, and forges entrepreneurial partnerships with journalists and their news organizations, ethnic media and hyperlocal news sites, philanthropic and nonprofit organizations, scholars and students. The organization operates in partnership with ZeroDivide.
